I first became involved with Children First Derby when I joined as a volunteer peer mentor for the charity back in 2014, a role that I am still actively undertaking.

I am passionate about the support that the charity offers to vulnerable children and families across the city and wanted to play a part in helping to drive the charity forward to ensure that it is able to continue to offer these valuable services long into the future. For that reason, I applied to become a trustee of the charity in June 2016.

Outside of the charity, I have a full time job and I am currently studying towards a degree in childhood and youth development.
