We are proud to be working with The National Forest Trek taking on this year’s three-day walking challenge through the stunning National Forest - and we’re on the lookout for a team of twelve ramblers to join us on this amazing trekking adventure, walking to raise funds for Children First Derby.

Taking place in the Midlands from Friday 9th – Sunday 11th September 2022, The National Forest Trek is an annual walking challenge weaving through the lush woodland, gently rolling countryside and industrial heritage of the National Forest Way, finishing at the nation’s centre of remembrance: The National Memorial Arboretum.

With options to take part in the full three-day trek or compete in a one-day or two-day trek over the weekend, you can choose to stride, ramble or trek anywhere from 20-75 miles through the fully signed, accessible route, with full medical and marshal support provided throughout.

Everyone taking part will be issued with a safety tracking device, allowing your friends and family members to follow your progress during each stage of the trek.

There will be no entry fee for our team of walkers. All we ask is that our walking team raise a minimum amount for Children First Derby, depending on the trek option taken.

Our walkers will all receive a free trekking t-shirt, in addition to the commemorative wooden medal and other rewards you’ll receive on completing the trek.

Entry includes free camping, parking, and transfers. And you can enjoy the complimentary meals and snacks provided throughout the trek, ensuring you won’t go hungry or thirsty. There’ll even be a chance for a free post-walk massage too!

We’re really looking forward to this fantastic trekking experience, and we would love you to join us, helping to walk and raise funds for Children First Derby.
