Reports and Policies

Children First Derby is committed to being transparent to the community we serve - to our service users, supporters, volunteers and our staff members.

Your privacy and data

Children First Derby values the privacy of your data and adheres to the U.K Data Protection Act 2018 which controls how your personal information is used by organisations and businesses in the U.K. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data that we collect, and what we do with it. On 25th May 2018, the  General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) became enforceable under EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). Our Data Protection Policy details how we implement Data Protection under the GDPR regulation.

Child Safe Guarding

Children First Derby provides support for children who are regarded as vulnerable and who may be at risk of social exclusion. We put the safety of children first because we believe all children have a right to feel safe in whatever environment they are in. Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy reflects the implementation of the child protection processes that we have in place.

Equality & Diversity

Children First Derby recognises that ensuring equality and diversity in the services that we provide is critical, both to our success and to the wellbeing of our service users. We ensure that all groups of people from diverse backgrounds have equal access to our services and that fair recruitment processes are implemented for all our staff and volunteers. Our Equality and Diversity policy ensures that equality is embedded in all of our decision making and the running of our Charity as well as in the deliverance of our services.
